My Friend Slendy

“Alright Slendy, I have had enough. Do your thing.” Said Jay. As he said this the Slenderman bent over and looked Jay in the eyes, staring as if to say, “Careful who you order around.” He then grabbed Jason by the collar and dragged him into the forest kicking and screaming. “Let’s go” said Alex. Jay and Alex got in the car and drove home, glad to be done with it all. “He was really close to figuring it out.” Commented Alex. “I know.” Replied Jay. “We can’t let anyone get that close to figuring it out again. Jay stopped and reflected on the events that had led up to tonight.

I can't decide what to call this story. I really hate the name on it, but I can't think of anything else. Basically I watched a bunch of the Marble Hornets series (Up to Entry 50) and decided to write my own version with a little twist. Thoughts?

Hitman

This is the story of a man named Adal. Adal was a good man at heart, however most people would not think that by looking at him. Adal was a Hitman. Most people would call him Murderer, Serial Killer, or something of that sort. In reality he was killing people because he had to. He would rather not kill people if he didn’t have to. Then again he would rather the world be at peace and war had never been invented, just like everyone else. Adal killed people for the greater good. He would take one life in order to spare millions.

In this particular story Adal was after a man named Anastas. A Russian Communist Advocate who was trying to bring communism to America. Thirty years and people still believed in communism. Adal was getting dressed for the morning. Adal usually like to wear nice clothes, however it was a shame that they were usually ruined from being bled on, torn, shot through, burned, or damaged from the many dangers he faced every day. Adal buttoned up the shirt he was wearing.

After all, his job was very dangerous. And that was an understatement. His missions were perilous, suicidal even. He did things that many people would never consider doing.  Sometimes he had to fight dirty though. He could not use techniques that would send people to the afterlife in as peaceful a way as possible. He had to send them to their deaths as quickly, quietly, and efficient as possible. He could not risk being discovered. He spent almost his entire life undercover.

As he took the tie around his neck and tied it into a double Windsor, Adal thought back to the day he had joined the Hitman program. He had traded friends for secrecy. He had traded a wife, for a gun. He had traded a house, for travelling. He had traded kids, for razor sharp technique, and ruthless efficiency. He traded a normal life, for the life of a hitman. And he was damn near unstoppable. He could run three miles in less than 15 minutes. He had a black belt in six martial arts. He had more training and experience than a navy seal. He had the marksmanship of a sniper. However he knew he was not invincible. A single bullet could end his life if he was not careful.

Adal put on his jacket and buttoned the cuff links. His train of thought continued onward. He had to be careful. He had become too valuable of a hitman to die. Adal wasn’t afraid to die, he was more afraid of what would happen if he did. He knew that if he didn’t take out Anastas, then the Russian man would be able to gather enough troops and support to take over America. He wouldn’t kill any Americans. No, just the ones that stood in his way. He would convert the world to communism, starting with America, which was absolutely unacceptable.

Adal stopped to think about his history. He sat on the edge of the bed in his hotel room. He rested his bald head on his hands. He thought first about his parents. He wondered where they were, or if they were thinking about him. He thought about his name. He was mostly white but his family did at one point come from Germany. He had a bunch of different races in his blood. He was mostly German though, A lot of people said he looked like Walter from Breaking Bad. His name was Adal. German for Justice. That was part of what convinced him to serve his country. He wanted to serve justice to those who deserved it. To people like Anastas. Adal made a silent vow to kill Anastas.

Adal operated differently from most people. He would spend days, weeks, months, even years searching for the same target so that he could eliminate him. He once spent six years searching for the same man. But that is a different story for a different time.

Afterlife Update

Ned Stark had just been beheaded. At least, he thought he had. The guards let go of his back and the crowd cheered. His daughter was nowhere in sight. Had the hound missed? He stood up and looked to his left. That is when he saw the hound lift up his own head, minus its body.

Why was no one coming after him? It seemed as though he had just disappeared. Nobody seemed to care that he was now walking around, un-hindered by guards. He had no idea where Arya was, she was nowhere to be found. Sansa stood next to Joffrey, the lying son of a bitch. How could someone go back on their word like that? But the one thing Ned understood the least, is why he saw his own body in front of him, without its head. He ran up to Joffrey intending to strangle him. But instead of making contact with Joffrey and throwing him to the ground below, Ned’s hands went right through him. Then all of the pieces fell into place.

Ned understood what had happened. Ned had died. Ned had indeed lost his head. Joffrey did indeed pass the order to behead Ned Stark. And it had happened. Ned had passed into the afterlife. Ned understood that he was being granted a gift. A gift that could also be a curse. Ned would use this opportunity to watch over his children and his wife.

He wondered how Jon Snow, his bastard son, was faring. Upon the thought of his son, Ned found himself standing with a large number of the Night Watch, his son among them. Each man was on horseback. “We will find Benjen Stark!” said the commander, “Tonight the Night’s Watch will ride in full force!” “So he made it…” thought Ned. Or did Ned actually say it. Things like this were difficult to express. “Jon did it. He is a member of the night’s watch.”  Ned found himself wondering what sword his son was carrying. It was not the same one he had been using for years. It had a beautiful pommel that looked like his house sigil, a wolf’s head.

‘That is an astounding sword’  Thought Ned. ‘I wonder how he acquired it.’ But the sword would have to wait. More important issues were at hand. Suddenly a new thought popped into his head. A look of worry on his face Stark uttered one word. ‘Arya’

Stark willed himself to be with Arya no matter where she might be and instantly found him with her. Her and Yoren whom he had assigned to protect her were on their way to the nights watch. Yoren was attempting to get Arya out of the area by disguising her as Night’s Watch Recruit. Ned watched his daughter as she conversed with Genji Baratheon. ‘That’s Robert’s bastard!’  Thought Ned. ‘He has the best claim to the throne!’  (in truth Joffrey did not belong on the iron throne, as he was the product of an incestuous relationship between Jaime and Cersei Lannister.) ”Well if you really are a boy, then pull your cock out and take a piss” Said Genji. ‘Oh no.’  Thought Ned. ‘He has her cornered on this one, come on Arya think of something clever’  “I don’t need to piss.” Arya replied rather nervously.” “Because you’re a girl.” Shot Genji. “You’ve got me. My name isn’t Arry. It’s Arya. Arya Stark.” Arya paused and looked at Genji. Genji looked taken aback. “Of the house Stark.” Continued Arya. Genji paused for a moment out of shock, then said, “And I have been pissing in front of you! I am so sorry! And, and I should be calling you milady too!” “Don’t call me milady!” shot Arya. At that moment a pair of Lannister soldiers rode up to the nights watchmen overseeing the boys, and announced they were searching for someone. ‘Not good’  Ned thought to himself. “They’re looking for me!” Whispered Arya. She quickly hid behind some crates. “We are here for a bastard named Genji!” Shouted one of the two guards. “Reveal yourself to us, and none shall be harmed.

I think it's going well. I want to find more ways to make it feel like Ned is actually doing something, instead of just narrarating Season 1.

The Script - Science and Faith

Pretty damn good song. Go check it out.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sHR61lfg00

Tried to break love to a science
In an act of pure defiance
I broke her heart.
As I pulled apart her theories
As I watched her growing weary
I pulled her apart
Having heavy conversations
About the furthest constellations of our souls. ooh
And we're just trying to find some meaning
In the things that we believe in
But we got some ways to go.
Of all of the things that she's ever said
She goes and says something that just knocks me dead.

You won't find faith or hope down a telescope
You won't find heart and soul in the stars
You can break everything, down to chemicals
But you can't explain a love like ours.

Woohhhh
It's the way we feel, yeah this is real.
Woohhhh
It's the way we feel, yeah this is real.

I tried pushing evolution
As the obvious conclusion of the start.
But it was for my own amusement
Saying love was an illusion of a hopeless heart.
Of all of the things that she's ever said
She goes and says something that knocks me dead.

Of all of the things that she's ever said
She goes and says something that just knocks me dead

You won't find faith or hope down a telescope
You won't find heart and soul in the stars
You can break everything, down to chemicals
But you can't explain a love like ours.

Woohhhh
It's the way we feel, yeh this is real
Ooohhhh
It's the way we feel, yeh this is real

I’m holding your hand but you’re barely holding on
I’m kissin your lips but it just don’t feel the same
Anekatips Am I dead there now, left living with the blame

Oh I hear the angels talking talking talking
Now I’m a dead man walking walking walking

Already broken, already gone, already know you’re moving on
I’m a breathing, talking, dead man, walking
Already see it, in your face, already someone, in my place
I’m a breathing, talking, dead man, walking

I hear the angels talking talking talking
Now I’m a dead man walking walking walking
I hear the angels talking talking talking
Now I’m a dead man

We’re in the same room just one million miles away
With all these books around but we ain’t go two words to say
Am I a dead man now, left living with the shame?

I’m .. already broken, already gone, already know you’re moving on
I’m a breathing, talking, dead man walking
Already see it, in your face already someone, in my place
I’m a breathing, talking, dead man walking yeah
I’m a breathing, talking dead man walking

I hear the angels talking talking talking
Now I’m a dead man walking walking walking
I hear the angels talking talking talking
Now I’m a dead man

I’m already broken, already gone already know you’re moving on
I’m a breathing, talking dead man walking
Already see it, in your face, already someone in my place
I’m a breathing, talking dead man walking
