See, the thing about being a writer...

So here I am. It is 3 o' clock in the morning, and I'm sitting here thinking. Really deeply. One thing I keep thinking about is relationships. Like, what would it have been like if I had dated this person. Or what about that person? Who even knows? So I'm laying here basically playing out this whole relationship in my head. The first date, the first kiss, the first fight, the ups, the downs, and even the damned breakup. There is this one girl, who will remain unnamed, that I think about going all the way through life with. I mean including marriage, buying a house. Maybe even kids. I know it will never happen, but I still like to think about it. Just kind of a, "What would that be like?" kinda thing. But, being a writer, I think of every. single. detail. The dress she wears. The food we eat. The feel of her palm as I hold her hand. It's not enough to write a full story on though. I might try it. I would have to replace names, and even then, people who know me could still probably figure it out. And to be honest, it sucks. The whole, playing-out-relationships-in-my-head thing. I mean, I want to sleep dammit! Anyway... I wish that I could talk a bit more about this, but... I already kind of got my point across... I think. Maybe YOU. The reader. Should try it.

Aaron

Aaron began to nervously pace around his hotel room. It was approximately 2 AM. He had not gotten a proper nights sleep in two… Three? Either two or three years. Ever since HE had shown up, his life had been a living hell. Constantly on the move, Aaron basically lived in hotels or his car. He had been suffering from hallucinations, and he was unable to hold a job. Aaron walked to the bathroom, lowered his head into the sink, and coughed. He coughed for a couple of minutes. He eventually started to cough up blood. He was so sick of this. He walked over to the mirror and looked at himself. He was pale, thin, and looked sick. After staring at himself for a few seconds, he thought he saw something out of the corner of his eye. He whipped around facing the room and saw… Nothing. He sighed with relief. Maybe he should go outside, and take a walk, and clear his head. He turned towards the door. Something was between him and the door. I could describe it to you, but it’s physical appearance cannot describe the fear that accompanies this creature.   It was tall. Very tall. It was humanoid in shape although it was anything but. It wore a dark suit. Where his face should have been was nothing but pale white skin. Aaron stared, paralyzed with fear. He immediately doubled over in pain and began to cough up blood. He fell to his knees as he lost consciousness.
