The Other Side of the Tree

“Alright Slendy, I’ve had enough. Do your thing.” Said Jay. As he said this, the Slenderman bent over and looked Jay in the eyes, staring as if to say, “Careful who you order around.” He then grabbed Jason by the collar and dragged him into the forest kicking and screaming. “Let’s go” said Alex. Jay and Alex got in the car and drove home, glad to be done with it all. “He was really close to figuring it out.” Commented Alex. “I know.” Replied Jay. “We can’t let anyone get that close to figuring it out again. Jay stopped and reflected on the events that had led up to tonight.

It had started a long time ago. Halfway through his series on youtube called Marble Hornets, he had had enough. He was done being scared, he was done being stalked, he was done with masky, hoody, and the slenderman. So he gave up. He stopped making Marble Hornets. The next time he saw the slenderman, instead of running, he embraced him. “And now I work for him.” Thought Jay.

Almost instantly the stalking stopped.  He finally got some decent sleep in what had been almost a year. He lost all paranoia that he originally had. The biggest change was the headaches, which had stopped altogether. It was like a large weight had been lifted off his shoulders. The only catch was that occasionally he had to go do what the Slenderman wanted. Usually it was stuff like breaking into houses and stealing things or placing other things. Sometimes both. For example, this one night he had to break into a kid’s house and steal his ibuprofen. “help Slendy do his job” thought Jay. A couple of days afterwards he told Alex about it. Although he was distrustful at first, a couple of months and Alex gave in. Now they worked together.

Fast forward ten months and this guy named Jason shows up,

Yay! It's coming along really well. Now all we need to do is figure out what jason's quest is, and how it all goes south. I decided to name it, "The Other Side of the Tree" or TOST for short. (pronounced toast because who doesn't like Toast???) It fits the story seeing how its based off the marble hornets series but is an alternate storyline.
